As soon as I get my office type stuff unpacked, I will download all of the videos that I have. I didn't document the move at all but I still have some fun videos of before the move to share. I have to find my usb connector thingy.......

I'm going to my new school tomorrow morning! I'm excited to get things going and get in a routine yay.

1 Year Pictures

Well, we got Ethan's 1 year pictures back from JCPenney today and I have to say they are adorable BUT I'm upset that they cost so damn much and I feel like we didn't even get that much! Everyone is getting a 5 x 7 but you'll have to be patient with us as we are in the process of MOVING and I have no idea where the stamps, envelopes, etc etc etc are. Besides, I'd rather give them in person.

It is starting to hit me that we are moving because I got a job and now I have some serious work to do in order to be successful at this job. Every summer, I totally get out of teacher mode and forget what life was even like when I was teaching all those months ago. I'm nervous but I am sure I will do just fine (I hope).

Breaking News!

Jeremy, Ethan and I are moving to Salisbury, MA during the first week of August! I accepted a position with Andover Public Schools in MA and our house is already rented, my mom and Lauryn found us a place to live, I've filled out all the necessary paperwork, so off we gooooooooooooooooo!

My Dadd-o and Patty are flying down on August 2nd to help us move (thanks Dad!) and help drive the Budget truck to our new home (which is LESS THAN TWO MILES FROM THE BEACH!!!!!!!!!!!)

Life is so stinkin good right now! Stressful of course, but super exciting and enjoyable.

Stress........

.............is going to kill me! Ahhhhh!

In happier news, Ethan had his 1 year well baby check-up today and he is 21 lbs 11 oz, 29 inches tall, and has a head circumference 47.5. He is a little behind in some areas but our doctor said it most likely isn't a big deal since Ethan has been through so much in one year. The doctor was pleased to see Ethan talking, laughing, smiling and jumping! He usually only sees him when he is very ill!

I like to minimize Ethan's health issues over the past year but whenever I see the doctor he reminds me that Ethan was very sick, many times and that he is so relieved that Ethan is happy and healthy now. He is resistant to put him on whole milk and take him off the AR formula because of his history with severe issues with reflux. He said we are going to give him whole milk for lunch for a week and then take it from there and see how it goes. Ethan will be on prevacid until he can prove to the doctor that he can handle whole milk without refluxing too bad.

So overall, Ethan's health is great! I try not to worry too much but I guess that what mommy's are supposed to do.......worry even though they probably don't need to.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the best new daddy! Ethan and I are so lucky to have you. We appreciate all the hours you work (without complaining I might add). I'm so glad I met you all those years ago :). Thanks for being such a great daddy to our son!

Happy Father's Day to my dad!!! I have the best dad ever! Thanks for being so supportive of me over the years. I can't wait until we move closer so Ethan can get the privilege of growing up near you. It would mean a lot to me if you guys were close.

Happy Father's Day Mike! You're a great father-in-law! Jeremy and I hope you had a restful day. We can't wait until you see Ethan again. I want to know if Ethan is like Jeremy when Jeremy was his age!

Norman, you know we love ya! I majorly appreciate how thoughtful and caring you are when in comes to our family. It's great to know you are in Ethan's life. Someday you can teach him to shoot coyotes from the upstairs window of your house.

It is just now hitting me that major changes are coming our way. Even if we don't relocate, I still will be starting a new job and that is stressful and scary enough! I got a phone call for an interview for a middle school music position in Andover, MA (about 2 hr 45 min from Waterville) and the reality of the situation hit me so hard. My chest is so tight right now. I am having to force myself to breathe.......OMG I can't believe that we could really be doing this. Is Andover too far? Will we like the area? Where will we live? I can't bear the thought of being in an apartment without Parker and Zoey! I can't live without them! We have to rent because we can't sell our home.........how long will we be in a rental? What if I get a job and Jeremy doesn't? What if he gets a job and I don't? Do we have enough money in savings? What about forwarding mail? I hate changing addresses! Maybe we should stay here another year and save some more money. But if we dont' leave now, will we ever? Will Ethan ever know his family? What if we have to move somewhere without a washer and dryer in the house? UGH talk about olden times! I need to relax. Ethan is sleeping peacefully and I think I will do the same. Just kidding, I know I will have all kinds of crazy dreams tonight.

Ethan's Has Friends!

Ethan got invited to a birthday party for his friend Avery (my friend April's daughter)! He had SOOOO much fun and he is for sure part fish! He was a big hit at the party and luckily I got some cute pictures of him and Reagan (my friend Krisha's daughter) splashing in the kid pool. Avery is 2 so she got to play in the big kid waterslide area and although Ethan really wanted to, I wouldn't let him go down the water slide (mean mommy!).
