Really?

I made all of those new posts and I only got one comment?  I guess I have lost my readers!  Haha, just kidding, but in a kind of serious way.

I have to leave Ethan all over again.  I already know I will cry when I bring him to daycare tomorrow at the ungodly hour of 6:30am.  I hope he's not the first kid in daycare and I hope I can work it so I leave shortly after school (3pm) daily.  I think 6:30 - 3:30 is PLENTY of time for a toddler to be spending outside the comfort of his parents.

Jeremy's work schedule is crazy so far.  He either has the day off, works 8-4, 8-10pm, noon-11pm, 4-9 or whatever they choose to schedule him!  We aren't really sure what to do with Jeremy's schedule as it relates to Ethan.  We both think that Ethan should have a regular schedule and we both want to send Ethan to daycare only 4 days a week but we don't have a guarantee on any particular days that Jeremy will have off.  I am really hoping that Jeremy will get a set schedule, or at least a somewhat set schedule.  If we knew that Jeremy would always have Tuesdays off, then we would be able to send Ethan 4 days a week.  I don't think the daycare will let us pay for 4 days but have the 4 days change weekly.  Hmm....it is a lot to think about.

Parker is the weirdest dog and has specific criteria that need to be met before he goes to the bathroom.  Since we moved here, we haven't been able to figure out what the criteria are.  When we lived in TN we found a routine that worked with his oddness and when we were in our house we just let him run around in the backyard and he would bark when he was ready to come in.  Here, we have no idea when he will go and what makes him go.  I spend most of my days trying to get the damn dog to lift his damn leg!  Here it is, 10:34pm on Monday night, and the dog has not done anything for bathroom activity at all today.  NOTHING.  I'm not caving in though.  I refuse to spend an hour outside with him in the morning and at night.  What I do now is let him play in the woods behind our condo and if he goes then he goes!  Most days we go for a family walk but that will probably change now that I'm starting work again.  Have you ever met a dog that wouldn't go to the bathroom?  Why does he do that?  He is so strange but I love him like a bastard child.

  1. This reader is still here honey. I just hadn't checked in for a couple of days. Can Jeremy ask his scheduler to give him a more consistent schedule?

Love the videos! Keep them coming as you have time.
