Yuck! What is disappointment! They tasted like paper pulp mixed with a terrible imitation blueberry flavor. I think it is time for me to buy a waffle iron because this waffle craving isn't going away.
I'm not a fan of frozen waffles either, and had my doubts about your mom's homemade waffles....but they were SOOOOOO GOOOOOD OMG. I started humming while I was eating them and it made her laugh. So yea, waffle maker, good idea. Waffle with Strawberries, divine.
WELL worth it to get a Belgian waffle maker, and they are not expensive. I recommend Krusteaz waffle mix, just add oil, eggs, and water. Or make homemade batter. Belgian waffles are great with ice cream, hot fudge and whipped cream! Eric liked the strawberries, and yes, he really hummed, just like Josh Breton!
